Javier Gonzalez

I was born and raised in Houston, TX to a US Citizen mother and an immigrant father. Ever since I can remember I wanted to go to law school to become an attorney so that I could help the Immigrant community. My educational journey began at Texas State University, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. In 2016, I followed my dream of attending law school when I moved to Boston, MA to attend New England Law Boston’s Concentration in Immigration Law Program.

While in law school, I completed every Immigration course available, was a part of the Immigration Law Society and the International Law Society, and I interned and worked at several law firms in downtown Boston as well as Cambridge, MA. After graduating in 2020, I continued to work in Boston where the experience and skills I gained further fueled my passion to work with and help the Immigrant community.

In October 2021, I began working at Albizu Law after moving back to Texas to be closer to my family. I am a proud member of the State Bar of Texas since 2022. I specialize in Removal and Asylum hearings, Family based Petitions, Adjustment of Status, Citizenship and Naturalization and assisting clients navigate the often confusing, complex, and stressful legal system. I am incredibly passionate about giving back and helping the immigrant community and will always strive to do the best job possible for our clients and their families.
